The University of Connecticut is not only a powerhouse in athletics but also one of the largest and most vibrant universities in the nation. With such a dynamic campus life, students face a constant challenge: getting around quickly and efficiently.
That’s where Levy comes in. Founded by Guillermo Sandoval, a proud UConn alumnus who graduated in Mechanical Engineering, Levy has transformed campus mobility. Guillermo, a first-generation student, understood the need for reliable transportation at UConn and set out to solve it. He founded Connecticut Levy Fleets, surveyed the student community, and introduced an innovative fleet of portable e-scooters designed to meet campus needs.
Since its launch, Levy has become an integral part of student life. Since launch, students have taken over 15,000 rides, with an impressive 4.75 satisfaction rating. The service is more than just transportation — it’s a symbol of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the Husky spirit.
In gratitude for the community’s overwhelming support, Levy now gives back by supporting student clubs and entrepreneurial initiatives. Just as Guillermo once turned an idea into reality, Levy’s mission is to empower the next generation of UConn students to dream bigger, innovate boldly, and continue building a legacy that makes the university proud.
